Baby's Room

We finally started on Ethan's room. It is all cleared out and we put a closet organizer in to hopefully give us some more space. The room is pretty small so we will just have a crib and dresser that we will use as a changing table. We also ordered a rocker that will hopefully fit in a corner.

Here is our furniture except we won't use the hutch on top of the dresser...

We also bought our bedding....

Joe is going to attempt to stripe one of the walls in the room. He so far as drawn the lines on with pencil. I will post some pictures as we go, but here is the picture that was our inspiration. The rest of the walls will match the lightest stripe, which will be a vary pale yellow, creamy color.

I am about 26 weeks now and feeling really good. Time is really flying now that it is summer and we are so busy figuring out what all we need to do before he is born. It is so wonderful to feel him kicking and moving around. It is not wonderful when he tries to push his foot out of my belly button. I am not complaining though...whatever it takes to finally meet him in October.

We have definitely decided on the name Ethan, but Joe is still deciding between Patrick and Joseph for his middle name.

Here I go...

I have decided to succumb to the peer pressure and start a blog. Hopefully this will be a good way to keep all my family and friends who are out of town up to speed on what is going on with us. Actually, I am pretty sure everyone just wants to see the hugeness of my growing belly....
