Finger Clicking

My mom has been teaching Ethan to click his fingers and he is actually doing it to the point of making noise. You probably can't hear it very well in the video, but he is so proud of the fact that the sound is coming from him.

Fun in the Sun

This past weekend we went over Shannon's sister's house for a cookout. It was like being on vacation for a day. They have an amazing backyard with a pool. Here is Ethan after a long day in the sun...the quart of suntan lotion must have worked because he definitely isn't any tanner.





Bella kept jumping in the pool and then shaking the water off her fur next to Ethan. He thought it was so funny...



Ethan really liked playing with Jaden. Hopefully they will continue to be friends as they grow up. They are off to a good start as you can see from the video below. Maybe a little too good.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! Ethan was so excited about his cards for Joe that he just wanted to eat them. His bottom two teeth did pop through so that is probably a pretty good excuse.

Time Flies...

Here are a couple pictures from a cookout we had at my Aunt's this weekend. Ethan just turned 8 months here and Ryan will be 2 next week. Oh, and Kevin will be 28 in a couple days...

Hot Day with the Monkeys

We went to the zoo on Sunday for Joe's work picnic. It was so hot and we made the mistake of not taking the tram up the big hill in the back. Luckily the monkey building was at the top of the hill and it had air conditioning. Needless to say, all we saw were the monkeys. Oh, and the elephants that we passed on the way out. We will have to take Ethan back one day when it is a little cooler.

Up on My Own Two Feet

All Ethan wants to do these days is stand. It is exhausting because he can't do it by himself unless he is holding on to something...or someone. Everyone says to be happy that he pretty much stays in one place, but I am secretly looking forward to him being able to move around on his own.
