Two Year Pictures

Here are a bunch of Ethan's two year pictures we had taken....

Cheesehead

Just a couple quick pictures. This is Ethan in our neighbor's football helmet. If it didn't weigh about as much as him, he probably could wear it. It fit his head about right...thanks to the Sidon side of the family!



He loves putting his baseball glove pillow on his head. The first time he did it Joe told him he looked like a "cheese head" and so now he declares himself one each time he wears it.

Rocketships and Candy

Our neighbor Owen had his 5th birthday party the day after Sophie's. They rented the rocket ride that used to be at Euclid Beach Park to give all the kids a ride. I thought it was just going to go around the block and was going to let Ethan ride with the two neighbor boys. Luckily I went with him because it really went about 45 miles an hour down Broadview Road with Beach Boys music blasting. It was a lot of fun, but I am doubting it was very legal. I know at least Ethan is supposed to be in a car seat in any vehicle, let alone in an open air rocket without any doors. But the kids loved it and Ethan still talks about riding the rocketship and going "very, very, very fast" and it being "very, very, very windy"!



They also had a pinata at the party which was pretty funny to watch. I learned a couple things... 1. Make sure all the kids get a turn to hit the pinata, otherwise half of them break down in tears when the thing breaks. 2. it is pretty much impossible to stuff the candy back into a broken pinata to let the rest of the kids have their turn 3. watch out for left handers because they suddenly start swinging in a whole new direction with no awareness that they are doing so

Happy First Birthday Sophia!

Sophia's first birthday party was this past weekend. The weather turned out to be perfect even though there were tornadoes the day before. She was the perfect little birthday girl...she definitely enjoyed being the center of attention for the day!
