Angelene's Baptism
Tom and Bev had Angelene's baptism on Father's Day also. She looked so beautiful in her little white gown. She was all about having her picture taken that day, too. I don't know if it was because of all the flashes or what, but every time she would see the camera across the room she would just smile the biggest smile. I think she just likes me.

Happy Father's Day!
Time has really gotten away from me since summer has started. Ethan has been going to bed closer to 8:30 or 9:00 and I am never far behind him. That plus the fact that my computer has been out of commission the last few days and I have become a blogging slacker. We had everyone over for Father's Day and I never posted any pictures.
Here is Joe, Ethan and his dad...

Ethan swimming in his new pool even though it was pretty cold that day. He didn't care one bit.

Sophia playing in Ethan's new early birthday present playhouse

Chloe drinking water out of the "water feature" as Ethan calls it.

and a cute one I took that morning when Ethan was trying to walk around in Joe's sandals. I thought it was appropriate for Father's Day.

Bath Time
Ethan's new favorite activity is swimming. He loves anything that has to do with the water. The other day we were going for a walk and he actually sat down on one of the sewer covers on the sidewalk just because it had collected water on it.
We took a video of him in the bathtub tonight because he decided that the tub is now a pool and he needs to lay down and swim in it. He also likes to practice blowing bubbles in the tub and tries to get Daddy to do it too. He definitely doesn't mind the water in his face. I think we need to start up swimming lessons again soon...

Cousins
This past week has been pretty uneventful. Ethan did have one of his episodes on Tuesday and was sick most of the day. It had been three months since his last one so that is a good thing. Hopefully they will remain more spread out going forward.
Sophia was over for awhile this week and she happened to have a dress on that coordinated with Ethan's outfit. You all know what that means...time for a photoshoot! He is really starting to enjoy her now. For awhile it was a little touch and go. She is now very active and moving all around so I think he sees her as more of a playmate then someone who takes away all of Grandma's attention. It is cute because he bends down really low to talk to her, like she is so much shorter then he is. He also talks to her in a high pitched baby voice....he gets really close to her face and says "hi soapia".

Playin in the Water
Roller Coaster!
We took Ethan to the Kiddie Park last weekend. We were afraid to put him on any rides by himself because he has a tendency to stand up while things are moving. We will wait to go back with Anna for that. I think if he rides with someone he may do better. We did go on the merry-go-round and the train which he loved. We ate lunch and he kept asking to go on the roller coaster. I really didn't think he would like it, but boy was I wrong. He wanted to go again and again. Here are a couple of pictures from the day.

Ethan Updates
We had a great time in Aruba but leaving Ethan at home was so hard. My hundred dollar cell phone bill proves that. We couldn't wait to get back and see him. It seemed like he grew so much over the week we were gone. He is talking in sentences now and is speaking much more clearly. We were just saying how much we liked the baby talk and the way he would say some of his words. Just in the past week though, "Meech", "weewoos", and "Eenie Roda" are now "milk", "wiggles", and "Ethan Rosa". We also came home to him knowing his entire alphabet, including "now I know my ABCs"....thanks Grandma for that!
Again I am amazed by how fast he is growing. Literally, he is hitting his head on things he didn't just last week. He is being very cuddly and asks for kisses all the time which I am loving. Joe won't even sit on the same couch with me, so now I have someone to cuddle with other than the dog. We are still working on potty training and are trying to decide when to move him to a big boy bed. He is so tall that it is going to have to be soon. He is running out of room in his crib.
He knows his colors and will tell me the colors of all of the flowers as he plucks them out of the pots I just planted. He loves throwing his basketball into the street so I will run and chase it over and over. He laughs hysterically at Joe as he runs around trying to get his kite in the air. He loves picking up "baby bugs" (ants) and squishing them with his fingers. He makes "worms" with his play-doe and then puts them in my hair. He loves dirt and mud and all things boy.

Really Random
I was uploading pictures from Aruba and I came across a few random pictures that I have taken over the past few weeks. I thought I would post some of the cute ones that I found.
Ethan and Sophie at the zoo

Ethan and Karli on a playdate...they are both just so happy, I love this picture.

I took this picture in the car because Ethan was actually sleeping with his sunglasses on and we didn't know it.

Ethan and Olivia...another one of his many girlfriends.
