ABC's and Bellies

I think I mentioned before that Ethan loves letters. He knows almost his entire alphabet and his favorite letter at the moment is "W" as you can see from how excited he gets when he sees it in the video below. He knows that when you turn an "M" upside down it becomes a "W". My mom showed him how to make the two letters with his fingers and now everytime he sees one of them, he uses his hand to show you how it can be the other. Hopefully it is not some sort of playground gang sign that he is flashing.

Ethan can also point to all his body parts. He thinks it is really funny to lift his shirt and show his belly. Unfortunately, he thinks it is even funnier to show other people's bellies when they are least expecting it...usually with lots of other people around.

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa!

We went over to my Aunt's house for my Grandpa's birthday last weekend. The weather was beautiful and Ethan learned a new word....dirt. That explains much of the day. Dirt. Playing in the dirt, digging in the dirt, throwing the dirt, putting the dirt in his hair. Here are a couple of pictures before he got a hold of the dirt...

A Long Distance Playdate

Kim is in visiting from Texas so we were able to get together over Michele's for a playdate last week. It was so much fun to see Adam and finally meet Zachary. He is so adorable and very smiley!

Being the big boy of the group, Adam had to go to the bathroom while we were there. Poor thing had both Anna and Ethan following him in there to see what he was doing. He was too cute though, when he was done he called them back in so they could see him wash his hands. Anna wanted nothing to do with having her picture taken on this day. Luckily she did much better the next day for her two year old pictures.

Seriously, how cute are these two?

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese with Jay, Michele, and Anna for Anna's 2nd birthday. It was a little chaotic but a lot of fun. I made Ethan ride on Pinnochio's big horse with me. He liked to pet the horse's mane and before I could stop the grossness I caught him leaning over to kiss its head. Oh well, germs build the immune system, right?

Here is the birthday girl loving her pizza until a minute later whe she saw the person next to us with a big birthday cake. I don't think the pizza looked too great after that.

I remember this ride from when I was little. I don't know if Ethan cared too much for it, but he had no choice in the matter...I was getting a picture of him on it.

He did like riding this big truck though. I think it was his favorite of the day.
