Happy Easter!

I know Easter was about eight weeks ago, but here are some pictures from my mom's house from that day. I am just trying to catch up!

We had an adult Easter egg hunt outside at my Mom and Dad's. It was a beautiful day right up until the start of the "attack of Kevin and Shannon". The wind started to blow, the rain started to fall and the temperature dropped about twenty degrees. That didn't stop my brother and sister in law. Oh no, they are crazy people when it comes to egg hunts. Everyone else pretty much gave up after about five minutes. I think together they collected about 30 of the 40 eggs. They don't even have compassion for the pregnant lady trying to make her way to the mailbox for an egg. Kevin just comes racing by, pushes me out of the way and dives in the mailbox. Just wait until next year!

Ethan loved finding his eggs. There was no need for me to hide all 48 that came in the bag, but I figured I would use them all. I didn't learn much from him opening his Christmas presents for four hours. It took him just as long to find each egg, open it, eat the treat or put the coins in a bowl, and then move on to the next egg. It was tons of fun though seeing him get just as excited about each of the 48 eggs.

Say Cheese!

Ethan likes me to take pictures of him so I can show them to him right away. Here are a couple of my favorites...

Kisses for Mallory

My battery on my camera died and I couldn't find the charger. I had to go buy a new one so that I could get all the pictures off of it. Needless to say, I am a little behind with my posts.

We have decided on a name for our little girl (have I even said that we are having a girl?)...Mallory Joan. That is about all we have done. Time is flying by and we have done nothing so far to get ready for this baby. Ethan is warming up to the idea of having a little sister though. As long as she never cries I think we will be good : )

We were walking through the airport a couple of days ago and we passed the Crocs store. He told us that we needed to go back and buy some pink Crocs for Mallory. He obviously thinks she is going to come out walking. Ethan loves Crocs. He loves shoes actually. I took him to the shoe store to buy him some new sandals for summer. The pair he had last year were on sale in his size so I thought I would just buy the same ones. He threw a fit and said that I had promised him "new" shoes.

He loves to give Mallory kisses. Unfortunately, most of the times it is after running full speed at my belly. I have learned to actually put a knee up when I see him coming.

Ethan Quote #12

Ethan and Joe had just gotten out of the pool...

Mom: "Ethan, I will go get you 'A' towel"

Ethan: "Okay, Mom, and you can get Dad the 'B' towel"

Ethan Quote #11

While reading a book before bed...

Joe: "Ethan, get your finger out of your nose"

Ethan: "Okay, Dad, but when you go to bed I will just pick my nose"
